Is There Freedom From Religion?

Okay, so i know there is freedom to religion, constitutionally. However, i also know there is freedom FROM religion. So, would it be politically correct to ask people of the religious to cut down on pushing beliefs on people who do not believe, like me? Not that i have a problem with what people believe, i respect their beliefs, but i would like my beliefs to be respected too. Also, how would you approach a person like that without getting them all worked up and go on a God-Spree?
