Starting out with hermit ?

I use to have a some. We kept them in a gl bowl. Had sand at the bottom and some of the little rocks people use in fish tanks. Im sure u can fit a good number in a 10 gallon. We had about 5 in our bowl and it wasnt tht big of a bowl. We used sponges for them to drink from because if u use a dish of water they can drown. They squeez the sponge and drink the water from their claws. And we didnt cover the top.. But we did have a time where someone was sleeping on the couch knocked the bowl off the table and we had to do a crab hunt all day. We decided not to give ours baths(my mom looked it up and it said to drop them in a small amount of water for a few secs) but every time we did the one who had a bath woud die. They will need some extra shells laying around the tank so they can move out and into a more suitable home
