I love u but???

the guy i like was acting very weird he was acting very mean when i would tell him wat was going on he would say he was just playing around but then his friend told me he didnt want to talk to me anymore and that he had a new girlfriend i felt so sad because i truly love him so i ignored him for the whole day he was trying to talk to me telling me wat was wrong and just trying to get my attention but wat his friend told me really broke my hearth i want to talk to him but i dont know what to say????? im confused
