Working with leather tips?

I am sure there are hundreds of people here that COULD answer this question but to write it all out? You are asking for a "how to book". Can you get to a Tandy Leather store or a leather shop in your area? What you need is a show and tell session plus some hands on work to answer this question not seventeen lines of text and the people at a leather shop will be happy to show you this stuff. Sorry if you think I'm trying to be mean I'm not, just being practical.
