How long does it take to treat malnourishment?

If someone was malnourished for a good period of time and got a majority of the symptoms; fatigue, loss of weight, bodyfat and muscle m, yellowing of the skin etc. How long would treatment take? How long would it take for the skin coloration to return to normal?
