American Airlines International flight to Chicago ORD?

I will be travelling from Delhi India to Calgary Albert via Chicago Ohare ORD on American Airlines. I know that i will arrive at terminal 5 at Chicago Ohare ORD and will depart from terminal 3. I will get my luggage at terminal 5, do i check it in at terminal 5 or do i have to carry it to terminal 3 then check it in?
