Question about ATC and Air Force ROTC?

Hello, I'm a freshman at the University of Oklahoma currently in my second semester. I changed my major from professional pilot to air traffic control. I also, plan to join Air Force ROTC next semester. uming I successfully complete the program, if I were to be lucky enough to receive a pilot slot, after my contract is up would it be possible to work for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller if I already had the education from the University. Also, if I don't get a pilot slot (which is most likely), does the Air Force offer a career for officers in Air Traffic Control? Any advice on these questions or my situation in general will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
