I am German, Italian, and Polish am I multi racial, also am i considered white?

My mother is German Italian, and my father is Polish Italian. I carry the polish surname, but just tell other people im German and leave it at that. I have blue eyes and brown hair, and im white, not tan, just very white, along with all my other family members. On my mothers sided though we traced our heritage to England, Normandy, and Ireland. I have Germantic characteristics so people dont beleve me when I tell them im Italian.
