How do I get craft/fabric glue off my table?

My son got into my craft stuff and took a napkin that I had used to dab the tip of the bottle on and he "helped" me wash the table! Most of it came off, but there are small little-almost bumps, on the table that I can't get off...it is an old wood furniture table that has a finish on it, so I don't want to scrub it too much and risk scratching it permanently...anyone know of any products or homemade concoctions to help take the rest off---I already tried nail polish remover/acetone...thanks
