For people who are good at deciphering the meaning of songs, what do you think this song means?

I think the song is about how women are shunned for doing things other then cooking or cleaning. Women are just meant to be as good as they aught to be, is what i think she is saying, but she's also singing about trying new things and how someone "always takes her home" which i think means leads her back on the path of cooking, ect. I'm not ist, don't be mistaken.
