Express card on new laptop mobile pcmcia card wont fit?

hi just bought a new laptop it has this new express card slot instead of a pcmcia slot, spoke with t mobile who provide it they say they are looking at bringing out a usb dongle that u can put ur sim card in to access the net on the move but not for a few months, anyone know of a way round this in the interim thanks
