Did Sarah Palin's nomination set back the women's movement about 100 years?
Sorry, but with all the super-qualified female candidates out there, John McCain selects her??? I mean, let's get real here people. This woman is WAY out of her league. She is clearly not up to the task. McCain could have picked any number of good candidates that were female - Condi Rice, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Christine Todd Whitman, etc. And these women actually are smart, have a good head on their shoulders and more substantial leadership experience! But instead we are stuck with a VP candidate that uses phrases like: "Joe Sixpack" "Durn it" "In what respect, Charlie?" & "I've been at this like..what..5 weeks?" I think she does a great disservice to all the QUALIFIED female politicians out there that could actually do the job if McCain keels over. Sorry, but she makes female politicians look blonde and clueless.
